I just taught a faculty development workshop in the program at my
university.
It's an interesting program--easy to teach novices. Until today when I
became
full-time faculty, I managed two Intranets and I wouldn't use Trellix
because
of the number of documents on our Intranet, and the fact that it's on a
network. I need to be able to go out there and edit documents directly,
rather
than create a site in a Trellix format and publish it to html. With
Trellix, I
couldn't work on a file someone else had created unless I had the original
Trellix file. With Dreamweaver, I can just go directly to old files and
change
them. I will use Trellix, however for my class syllabus pages because I'm
not
looking for style, just easily changed data. Of course, I still have the
problem of editing at home and at school. I'll need the original file both
places. I guess I'll store it on the server. I don't have time for more
right
now, but if you have questions, feel free to e-mail me. The URL to the
tutorial I created in and for Trellix is
http://arapaho.nsuok.edu/~ComTel/tutorial/Trellix/default.htm
It may have a few faulty links. They'll be fixed by the end of this week!
