We are a small, but extremely fast growing, Internet banking software
company. We have outgrown two offices in 9 months and will soon be moving
soon to larger quarters. Now that we will have the space, we can start
accepting applications again for a variety of positions.
All positions require a background in banking, with cash management/back
office experience preferred. Fluency in speaking, reading and writing
Spanish would be a big plus in any of the listed positions.
Documentation: Junior Technical Writer Position
I am accepting resumes for a junior technical writer (up to 2-3 years
experience). I am estimating a start date of late September/early October.
I may need a second person by first quarter 2000.
Requirements: Word '97, RoboHELP, background in banking (cash management or
back office) to understand the material. Must be able to work independently
on assignments. Writing samples and references required.
Additional experience (would be nice to have): some HTML or XTML experience,
writing training materials or teaching, fluency in Spanish.
Take Note: For those of you that keep asking how to get started in
technical writing without experience, this is an example. I will consider
training a new writer for this position if the person has the particular
combination of qualifications we need: a strong background in banking, can
speak and write Spanish, and some experience in either technical writing,
writing training materials, or being an instructor.
Other Magnet openings:
- Developers (mostly C++ and web design positions)
- Quality Assurance/Testing
- Product Managers
- Relationship Managers/Implementation Managers
If you have an interest in one of these positions, or know of someone who
might, please check the web site listed below. You can send all resumes to
me and I'll pass them along to the appropriate manager.
