What exactly does "flame" mean?

Is it that comments are hot? Is the "flamed-one" supposed to feel
embarrassment?

If I flame anything, its usually a stubborn bolt --- Like the bolts holding
leaf spring shackles on my resto project --

I spent 2 hours trying to salvage a grade 8 bolt Sunday. I thought I could
save some dough by reusing them. But, they were "grow'd" on as a motor
headed friend of mine noted and I had to melt them away with the torches =
flamed!

I had trouble setting the mixture on the torches which resulted in different
levels of flaming - immediate surgical grade cuts or slow and ugly glob
blowing.

Who has their mixture right when flaming, the surgeon or blungeon?

LIO - "lunch is over"
Archie

Okay folks,

Before this becomes a flame war, my response to Andrew's post was intended
as self-referential humor (Prima donna correcting a message complaining
about prima donnas), and not as proof to the world that *I* know how to
spell better than he does.

It very apparently did not have the desired effect, and thus if I had the
possibility to delete it, I would. Since I can't, please just disregard it
and get back to the *real* topics of this list. I promise not to let the
spelling diva correct *anyone* else.
