My response:
I agree that many folks don't understand why it takes so long to get
such simple, clear documentation; however, they DO notice when a good
writer is replaced by a bad one (or a difficult one). So, I don't
think we're going the down the Edsel route -- at least, not yet. It is
unfortunate that our true value isn't apparent until we leave, though.
