Use of 'one' here in the UK is, I would say, very much a 'class' or 'posh' thing
for want of a better phrase. Most likely to be heard by those who have gone to
public school etc. In over 15 years living here (I'm Irish!) I've NEVER heard
it used by people I know/work with in everyday conversation. I'd never use it,
Prince Charles probably would.
