Doesn't mean it's demonstrating the wrong thing, either. I don't think anyone suggested this was a one-size-fits-all fix.
As with any communication, you've got to consider your audience... if they're going to be offended, if it will take too
much time (though IMHO 30 minutes of the peanut butter exercise would be more tolerable and memorable than a 10 minute
"this is what I do" speech complete with charts and diagrams and 8X10 photos with a paragraph on the back), or if they're
going to fall over dead in a room full of peanut butter fumes (I'm not mocking peanut allergies, I realize they're quite
serious), then by all means find some other way to communicate. But although it won't work for all situations, it's still
a clever little exercise that can and does get the point across (if that's the point you're trying to make).
