"Users who want to start using XML
with their DB2 databases will have
the chance to do so gratis, care of IBM.
Big Blue this week announced it would ship the DB2
XML Extender as a free Web download. XML is a
format neutral way for users to simplify document
sharing over the 'Net. The XML Extender is an IBM
software tool that lets users store, search and retrieve
XML-formatted documents."
