I don't know where you are, but in the Agile shops in which I've worked,
the processes have not been fully implemented.
I have seen the development cycle iterations that address the issue of
late requirements, I've actually seen it have a detrimental effect on team
communication. That is, "This requirement is very small, we're gonna put
it in the next build, the next build is tomorrow . . ." so that sometimes
those requirements don't actually get communicated as well as those in the
not-so-agile environments.
In some cases I've seen, you'd not know there was a reason to DFD (because
we can use anything as a verb).
