Anybody know how to use Snag It 32 to edit images?

Not true. SnagIt Editor will now open more than a dozen image type for
editing and saves out in even more formats.
It even include a .snag file type specifically associated with the SnagIt
editor. Files saved in the .snag format remain fully editable, i.e., you
can grab and move stamps alter call outs, etc.

Direct access to the editor was added in version 7.1 and the preview window
was added in version 3.2 (1996)

While it doesn't have the power of say Photoshop for processing
photographic images, I rarely find I need anything more than SnagIt for
producing top-quality screen graphics for my publications. In fact the
tools in SnagIt are specifically designed for the task so I find them
better than a full raster editor at accomplishing screen shot editing
tasks.
