Anybody here work with System Lifecycle Management (SLM) vs. SDLC software documentation and processes?

All,

I have to take a document from our current SDLC structure and fit it into
our SLM 1.0 template... we are transitionaing styles.  Actually, all
government is from what I hear.

I have the pleasure of converting a document of massive proportions into the
SLM template.

Anybody currently work with SLM or SLM 1.0?  Anybody ever done a transition
between SDLC and SLM documentation?   I was just looking at it with my
program manager and we saw some similarities between SDLC and SLM sections;
a few switches and section renumberings here and there.  I take it we can
use our SDLC content from and put it in SLM?  However, I do think the
writing perspective has changed from SDLC to SLM???  It seems like SLM
presents the information differently from the way we SDLC presents?

Anybody feel free to chirp in on anything here while I photocopy my
SLM 1.0cheat sheet and begin googling...
