Looking on the bright side, we could watch TW-related podcasts while
waiting for the cake to rise :^)

But seriously…

On the face of it a fridge needs an LCD panel as much as a laptop needs a
cooler compartment. But it's possible that there's a germ of a good idea in
there. The kitchen is a good place to have an extra 'channel' going in the
background. When we're in there, we're usually occupied but have some
attention spare. I can picture an LCD panel with adequate built-in
speakers. It would attach to the front of the fridge, operating on the
mains and recharging its battery while docked. It would have a wireless
connection to a PC elsewhere in the house. In fact it could be the top half
of a laptop PC—take it off the fridge, clip it to the other half of the PC
(keyboard, disk drives, ports) and your laptop is ready to go again.

TV, radio, podcasts, music, all while you cook, eat or clean up. Hmmm....
