/S/a/l/a/r/y/ ... er... I mean rates

Well ... not really.

Without mentioning any numbers, I manage to live in Vermont (15 minutes
from world class skiing!) in a great house on 20 acres and my
freelancing rates and clients still allow me to reap a salary equal to
what I was making in suburban Boston. I am definitely a writer and not a
manager any more.

I look at it as the payoff for 30 years in the salt mines, myself.

My 2¢,

John Garison
