Hey Leo,

Interestingly enough, I was just reading that Microsoft's next version of Ofice is going to introduce it's own portable document format called XPS (I think). They are trying to get some of the PDF business from Adobe (and Adobe is threatening legal action over a range of issues, too).

CS2 as a standard, though? I guess it depends on what you are using it for. For photographers, PhotoShop is definitely the standard and its integration with InDesign (as well as GoLive) is a big benefit.

<personal opinion> From a documentation perspective, show me any large company out there, besides Adobe, that truly understands typography and design (with the exception of Quark) </personal opinion>

So, I would go with the CS2 suite.

That being said, as a die-hard Frame user, I too know that the application's time on earth is coming to a close and will need to migrate. I would love to get a synopsis of how your UK gent is using CS2 successfully for long document handling. Care to share?

Thanks
