Anyone here use Captivate?

Deepali,
What you are ask for is a flash player. Now the problem here is that when u
send out an swf file, you can never predict what the user shall use to open
it. For example, if you send me a .doc file, you can never be really sure
that I shall use Ms Office to read it... I could use OpenOffice,
WordPerfect, Kword etc.
So, standalone flash players are available, but u cannot really impose them
on a user and in the real world, most of them will see your presentation
through a browser.
Having pointed out all these drawbacks, here is one suggestion: record at
800x600. If your target audience always uses 1024x768, they will all be able
to see it properly. As for the white-space, ignore it!
Another option is to record at 1024x768 but record only part of the screen,
instead of all of it. With a little bit of trial and error, you will be able
to decide what are the dimensions to record, such that when it is played in
the browser, it fills the display area.

Hope that helps,
Pradeep
