I think the higher BA salaries come from greater contact with customers,
and the dual knowledge areas required. The closer you get to the people
with the money, the higher the salary seems to go. And BAs have to know
the customer's business arena in some detail, just as they must know the
technology that will help the customer achieve their business goals.
