I know this isn't a "mangling," per se, but if I have to see one more
advertisement or TV news ticker misspelling "peek" as "peak" (i.e.
"Catch a sneak peak of 'X-Men 3'!"), I'm going to have an Archie
Bunker moment myself. "HEY, MEATHEAD!"
