I think I like the entertainment industry because it provides a lot of
stress relief.  Where else can you walk to lunch and say the following?
"Jeez Louise!  I hate this job!  Stoopit, dumb...?...hey, there's Angelina
Jolie."

Yeah, that's what he said.  He also said that it was no big deal; that maybe
my manager was just buying time before he had to pay my recruiter this fee.

Not really, I think it's my current manager that has caused this increased
anxiety.  I've seen at least a dozen employees lose their job without any
notice.

You are correct, technically.  I would give two weeks notice to both
parties.

I had to do some major snippage to this post and post it fast before I left
for work so that I could respond to this question.  It made me choke with
laughter.  The project manager I referred to is an ex-college lineman.  A
few weeks ago he actually sponsored a competition to curl those large
Sparkletts water bottles (full of water).
