Now we're all going to think that you've already
rejected several prize candidates because you
thought they had one foot in the grave, or because
you thought they were still in high-school...

Hmmmm.... would kimjones need to get a new e-mail
address every year?
I used to use a sheaf of free e-mail addresses that
differed only by the included number, so I could
track which lists and online applications/sign-ups
were leading to spam. That is, when filling out
a form at some site, I'd include an e-mail address
that I used only for that site. If that address
started getting spam, I knew that the owners of
the store or service were selling addresses to spammers,
and I could just kill that address. . . and stop
supporting the creeps who sold me out.
I stopped doing it when my ISP instituted very solid
spam filtering.
