Toni:
I work on a lot of RFPs at my company. I researched a few applications
designed for RFPs, but the cost was not worth the return. What I've
done is imported the RFPs (with a bit of reformatting) into my HAT
(AuthorIT) and created CHMs. I've found that the search features
inherit in the HTML Help files is sufficient for my needs and the needs
of the SMEs that work on the RFPs with me.

Subject: Building a FAQ for preparing RFPs
Good morning,
I have had to respond to several RFIs/RFPs over the
last few months and want to put together a FAQ for
them so I don't have to keep inventing the wheel. A
former colleague was listing the questions and answers
by category in a Word document but I was wondering if
there was a way to build a database that could be
searched by keyword. I don't know much about such
things but it seems there must be a more efficient way
to store and retrieve information.
Thanks very much.
