Because once you know the basics, which are, well, basic...you don't
need that stuff any more. I'd guess that you should be able to pick
up the basics within a short period of time. Learn the basics and
dump the basics manual...you need to know that stuff anyway without
running to a manual to know how to click the button.

Besides...don't we hear over and over again how in technical writing,
less is best? This is the manefestation of this.
