Good question.

Let's put it this way: I do virtually all of my web browsing at home
and at work in Firefox. The vast majority of sites display properly in
Firefox--this includes large e-commerce, banking, and news sites as
well as smaller information-based sites.

If I'm reading your statements correctly, that means that these sites
*must* not work in IE (since it sounds like you're saying that writing
pages that work in non-IE browsers makes for sites that are
incompatible with IE).

Or maybe I'm misinterpreting your point...
