In software documentation, you are describing how the user can do a
certain function, with ambiguity as to how they approach it. With
policies and procedures, you are describing approach, and assuming
method will be a product of the skillsets users have. It's the same
skill, but different vocabulary, and a different approach. You seem to
think fast on your feet, so it will probably be fun.
