Adobe moved that functional to the upper menu bar in V8.0. If you right click in the top menu area, you can turn-on the "Page Navigation" menu, which will provide you with what you're looking for.

I'm one of the first in my organization to try out adobe acrobat v8. Today is my first day!
It seems like I don't notice how much I use something until it's gone.
I'm looking for a status bar at the bottom of the window that tells me what page I'm on, e.g., "4 of 18." How can I get that back in v8?
