SWF or Silverlight?

I saw Ms. O'Keefe's excellent review of FrameMaker 8 and noticed that
it hit on a topic many of us are thinking about. For online content,
it's clear that animation packages, like Flash (SWF) and SilverLight
from Microsoft, are going to be the future of our video and tutorial
delivery. They're lighter than video, embed in browsers and phones and
stuff, and allow us programable control of the video content.

Currently, Flash is the market leader, but Silverlight appears tempting
to me. First, it will soon be installed on every MS computer possible.
Second, it's supported under Linux and Windows, and possibly soon
Macintosh. Third, it seems to be a newer standard unencumbered by many
of the issues that are making Flash even show its age.

Any thoughts appreciated.
