Thanks for the feedback, folks!

I know most software is backward compatible. I was hoping for some
input from folks who've used the latest version or two, in terms of
stability/gotchas/etc...any first hand experience? You know, something
of the nature of "the last windows release was pretty stable and good,
actually, but don't touch Vista with a bargepole for a release or
two--and then with a bargepole you want to use for something else
after that."
