As Scott stated, the Recorder won't record across multiple apps.
However, if you're saving HTML from Word, then maybe you can re-open it
'as text' in Word and do your work from there?

Another way is to load the HTML file as text into a spreadsheet (like
Excel or OpenOffice Calc). You can sort the text, which might be good
enough to get all of the suspects into a single group of rows.
Otherwise, create a simple formula in the second column which searches
for whatever key text string marks a image file name.
(Remember- to propagate a cell down a column, select the cell and
double-click the little square marker in the lower-right corner)
Place whatever portion of the results you want in the second column as a
result of the formula. If not found, leave the cell empty.
Then filter by second column non-blank.
