Upgrading Acrobat without messing up Word

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for the details. As a follow-up, someone on another list stated
that, "the general advice with Acrobat is to make sure the previous
version is completely uninstalled" before upgrading. That sounds kind of
counter-intuitive -- any thoughts on this?
