"I've met a person who went on a rant about the word "train" and how it made
her feel like she was being treated like an animal in a circus show. <sigh>
What can one do?"

Some people take life far too seriously and simply enjoy being offended.
These people go looking for things to offend them. Other people have
hobbies, or children, and have no time for such nonsense.
