Adobe Reader's Updater5 folder

Among its other annoyances -- ha-ha, I mean "features" -- Adobe Reader 8
adds an "Updater5" folder to My Documents. It just sits there, empty and
lonely, waiting for an update to show up. If you delete the empty
folder, it's re-created every time you open Reader -- whether or not
there's an update to download.

To resolve this:
1. Open the Reader.
2. From the Help menu, select Check for Updates.
3. In the Adobe Updater screen, click Preferences.
4. In the File Location panel, change the download location to whatever
works best for you.
