like Ava's VP. I've been there and I've also been
unemployed, and I'm not sure which I disliked more.
I think how one looks at long hours depends a lot on
how those hours are worked. If your group is energized
because its members feel that they're progressing toward
a big finish and they're fully supported, long hours pass
pretty quickly. If you're working long hours because
someone has told you that you have to or "you're not
doing your job," 30 hours a week feels like an eternity.
