Almost all of my contracts had a clause that basically said I could walk, or
the recruiter/client could let me go, without any notice. If you signed
something like this, then it comes down to how you'll feel after you make
your decision.
But, as someone I worked for and admire said, you're only as good as your
reputation. Although HR may not be allowed to rehire you at a later date,
there may be a lot of nudging and winking going on when your name comes up.
