question about certification by the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences

Does anyone know what is required to be certified by the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences? I looked at their website, and found that they give study materials to people who register to take the test. I didn't find information as to what you have to be able to do to pass the certification. 

Can anyone shed any light?
