Unlikely athletes?

You know what I'd like to do? I'd like to create the Pudgy Geek Olympics. We could award a medal to whoever can speed-walk around the track four times without getting a crippling stitch in the side, or for who turns the brightest red after the smallest amount of exertion (although that wouldn't be fair, because I would always win), or who sweats most copiously after the least exertion (again, no one else would stand a chance).

We could have the Most Coordinated Geek award, for the person who trips over his or her feet the least in a specified amount of time. And the Looks Least Silly in Athletic Gear prize. That would probably be the hardest prize to award. 

Seriously, I do wish I could find a bunch of equally pudgy people in my small town and get together once or twice per week to have fun and get some exercise at the same time. We could even hire an instructor who's cool with those of us who *always, always* came in last in the President's Physical Fitness Test. (Did they post the results in your school?)  

Geek Boot Camp. Hmmm, I wonder . . .
