is merely just how to navigate it. Years ago, a lot of companies jumped
on the Notes bandwagon, and it has since become an antiquated bit of
software. Most file formats have difficulty being stable in the Notes
environment, and it never really lived up to its potential as an
enterprise solution for single-source communication.
I would do a quick net search and see if you can't find a tutorial on
the Notes interface. It really is just a repository, and more than
likely your prospective company is using it as their email client.
On a side note - I have a friend who 10 years ago became a Lotus Notes
developer when the technology was hot and looked like it was heading
somewhere. Since there are so few of his kind left, he created his own
Notes consulting firm, and is now a Notes gun-for-hire - pretty much
demanding whatever price he wants :)
Good luck - I'm sure you'll be fine!

Subject: Just what do I need to know about lotus Notes?
=20
I saw a job posting that required the usual suspects, Word, Excel,
Visio,
PowerPoint, FrontPage, Adobe Acrobat=20
And then, Lotus Notes! I know nothing about Lotus Notes, why the heck
would
the company throw a curve ball in there like that? What on earth could
they
be talking about here?
Thanks, I feel better now.
