'alright' is not a part of formal US English usage but it can be a part of
English usage. But in that case it is certainly different in meaning from
the two word 'all right.'

I'd be interested to know if any style guides (perhaps Economist?)
endorse "alright." New York Times and AP style both adamantly shun it,
favoring "all right."
