Nope :)

Since I left university with a degree in Experimental Psychology, the
only /training/ in technical authoring I have ever received was a short
course in FrameMaker three or four years ago.

Now, obviously I'm really, really good at self-training (that's pretty
much obligatory in this career), but I'm not convinced that most
observers would describe that as being 'well trained and educated in
competencies'.
