Some people (not necessarily you) like to mystify
certain obvious skills, implying that one does not
need to be intelligent but "trained," as if it were
rote mechanical processes.

Those of us with mixed development and consulting
background often see this approach as destructive and
unstable. Again, not necessarily you: but it's why
some of what you say will meet with mixed approval in
experienced circles.
