Why???

Jonathan said he has an assignment to ask "Why." I agree with what Richard
said, plus a little.

In Journalism, we are directed to ask, "who, what, why, where, and how."
It's not a bad rule for tech writers to use either. Just asking Why would
not be complete, in my opinion. For example, I ask questions like these:

   - Who would use this?
   - Why would they use it?
   - What need does this address? What task will the user complete by
   doing this?
   - How do they access this? Use it? Set up their account?
   - Where do they ... save the files, run the report, update the
   database... and so on.
