Same here. I'm busily and happily building credentials. Having a masters
degree in English gets you an interview, maybe. Having worked in
real-life newsrooms gets you farther. I find breaking down technical
information into chewable bite-sized bits an intellectual challenge, and
quite creative in its own way.
