Funky word problem

Hi Tammy,

First of all, save a copy of the document as it was before your changes.
After that, here are a few suggestions in no particular order. If these
don't solve the problem, they might reduce the list of possible causes.

* If I understood correctly, the document goes bonkers after you unlink
the headers *and* start resizing the columns. Try unlinking the headers,
saving with a new file name, closing Word, opening Word, and then
resizing the columns.

* Instead of resizing the columns with the mouse, open the Table
Properties dialog box and type the desired column widths.

* Create the table as a new table (not copied) in the body of the
document, and then cut and paste it into the header.

* Maggie the document.

* Post the problem on the Word-PC site -- there's none better.

HTH,

Dan
