Portland, Maine -- nice city to call home?

Nah. No remoting, but it seems that everywhere that really beckons, has
no thriving business or industry to speak of.
Commerce equals traffic congestion and industry equals other unsavory
things. Except this stuff employs people.
A Catch-22.
That's the problem I'm afraid of seeing. Does beautiful and quaint equal
little or no techcomm industry?
Does reaching techcomm mean going more developed and industrialized, and
less beautiful and quaint?

It's beautiful, quaint, and has a great small-town feel. Not sure
about a thriving techcomm market there, though. You going remote? I
think they have broadband there now. ;-
