Acrobat 8 implements PDFMaker as a COM add-in, not as a global
template, so you wouldn't see a copy of PDFMaker.dot.

PDFMaker has no business leaving the menu in normal.dot when it isn't
loaded & in use. In fact, it has no business changing normal.dot at
all.
