Error message

Obviously, your error message was written by Jeff Lebowski.

It does serve to remind us that we should be careful how cute or wry we
are in our error messages. I can't resist sometimes and invariably have
to go back and remove any jocularity before it goes live. While it may
be hilarious to the writer, it's a bit frustrating for the end user.

I have an HP All-in-one printer/scanner at home.  I don't use it often,
but had a reason to do some scanning last night.  For whatever reason, I
couldn't get the scanner to work (although the printer is just fine).  I
received the error message: "Unable to open xxx file.  Bummer error."

Bummer error?????????  What is that about??????
