Financial crunch - need advice

Hello,

I have an informal poll for you... 

While my husband and I are both gainfully employed, our salaries are no
longer covering our bills and we're facing a major financial crunch
right now that could lead to some permanent damage (repossession,
bankruptcy) unless we take corrective action. Panic has already set in. 

I need to bring in more money and am considering ways to do so without
selling Tupperware and the like. I'm a writer with graphic art
experience and wondered how I can parlay that into some kind of
part-time thing I can do after work and on weekends. 

I wondered if anyone on the list has been able to use their writing
abilities to moonlight and wouldn't mind giving some advice.
