Looking for a fast way to do revision history - or - Any feedback on "Timesavers?"

I'm looking for a way to do revision history that has very minimal
overhead..... My own "home grown" method is is very laborious, tedious, and
time-consuming. :( So... I found a tool that seems to use Frame's markers to
create bookmarks and comments in a PDF, as shown in this example,

"Timesavers." Anyone have experience with this tool -- or any other tool
that can make quick work of creating revision history info?
