RoboHelp or Flare?

OK, here's just one example of a Flare annoyance that bit me last year.
Given that people who use RH are accustomed to (basically) just pushing
a button to generate a print version of a WebHelp system, you'd kinda
expect that Flare would start off with that functionality.
That's especially so since Flare's interface talks about "Print"
publishing targets (in addition to the various flavors of Help).
It turned out that creating a WebHelp system and then after-the-fact
deciding that you want a printable version results in the printable
(Word) file containing dozens or hundreds of duplicate pages.
Staff acted as though that was a surprise (in other words, they'd never
tested it), and the solution came from a couple of MVPs in the user
forum, in the form of a rather non-intuitive manipulation of Conditions
(two versions, depending on whether a given "book" contained just a
single topic or multiple topics)and a re-work of every "book" page in
your/my existing help.
That was in version 2.x, and when 3.x came out, there was still no
mention in the Flare Help about either a fix or a solid
acknowledgement/summary of the work-around.
