What kind of position is a polysyllabilist ?

Why do you think that's a title, and what gives you the impression that it
is connected with Technical Writing?
Someone on this list used to sign off as Software Exegete, which probably
describes what he did a whole lot better than say, Technical Writer... but
that still wasn't a title (or was it?)
