Color Schemes for Tables in Documentation

I seem to remember seeing something about this in _Desktop Publishing &
Design for Dummies_ - Roger C. Parker; Paperback (available at
Amazon.com).

All of my output has been limited to black and white except for an
occasional poster. We have a company intranet and I'm still working to
put our documentation out there. It's an educational opportunity and a
transformational thing. Sigh.

For the time being I include grid lines and lightly shade the header.
People here still try to argue with me when I reformat a form so it's
got a binding margin and at least 1/4" of white space on the other three
sides. Like I said, transformational. Sigh.
