To me, the TOC and sample content look a lot like the "Taming
Microsoft Word" books I wrote on Word up through OfficeXP: topics
targeted at the things techwriters need to know how to do,
without all the extra info that the big, more-general, books
cover. Aimed at novices at using Word, yes. Whether it meets the
needs of any particular member of this list is another matter.
I haven't read the book either, but I was glad to see that
someone had written one for a version of Word that I haven't
used. And got better distribution, too. <g>

Happily using OpenOffice.org, which just keeps getting better and
