Being bugged that my renewal is overdue

Okay, this IS strange. I just tried to log in and - got right in, no
problems. Now I'm confused. When I previously tried and failed, I tried
again over several days, and blew out every time. With a password error
message every time. Go figure.

No, it doesn't work like that. There's a grace period of, uh, three
months to renew right off the bat. I haven't renewed yet and I can
still log on to the STC website. I'm thinking it may be something more
local. I had someone else have a login problem 3 weeks ago, too.
